Direct tourist buses operate amongst the two towns. The Merlion Statue was inaugurated on 1972 which resembles ancient sea town of Temasek.
The 5-star Fullerton Hotel in Singapore is wonderful. They also explained to me that a single can enjoy Singapore to KL excursion only if they choose to go by bus.
